The red horizon stood tall
Lighting the sky above bright
Not a cloud or plane to be seen
No sky or space
No air
To float off one might be tempted to
To remember its soft journey in a day
But the dark cloak of night will soon fall over
Then there only be but the land
The sun’s gentle smile put away
Unable to breathe a warm breath
All it’s light gone
The path becomes narrow
Steep at it’s sides
Faces lost in the depths
Bodies obscured by light
Who is who and what is what?
The chimes of wind invisible
Ringing above and around
Deception at every corner
Mute tones of death ring close
A silent praise
Home at last
